Dear Fellow Naples Lodge Members, Welcome to a new Moose year!
For many of you, I would like to introduce myself as your Lodge Governor for this year. As for others who have been members for many years, you know this is not my first time as Lodge Governor. I look forward to serving you all this year. This upcoming year, we will continue to provide good meals with good service at a good value.
The calendar is being updated through NaplesMoose.com. Please continue to use this website. However, we will continue to print copies of the newsletter at the lodge for those who do not have computers.

I would like to thank Jim Kelly for his steerage of the Lodge ship for the last two years. A wonderful job was done with a lot of needed projects accomplished. Again, this year if you sponsor two members, you will get your next year's dues paid by Moose International. This was a wonderful incentive last year and continues again this year.
I look forward to the fraternalism of our fine organization and serving with a wonderful Board of Officers.

What can I say….. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
When I became Governor 2 years ago, I never dreamed our Lodge would reach the heights it did. I am so proud of all who plugged into "we set the P.A.C.E." and together we did! To the Board of Officers who were always supportive (even though I asked them to participate in meetings for 3 hours every other Monday), without all of your support, input, ideas and follow through, my tenure as Governor would have been a tough uphill battle. Thanks for making it a smooth ride.
To all of our employees & volunteers, you are the backbone of our operation. Your commitment to our members and your support of the Lodge is a huge part of our great success. Over the past 2 years, your willingness to put members first and to make them comfortable, as if they were with family, is a big reason for our membership growth.
And, finally, to all you wonderful Moose Members, thank you for your patronage, support, ideas, help and just being part of the Moose Mission to support those who can't support themselves. It was a great 2 years and I will always be proud to stand up and say "Naples 1782 is my home lodge". Good Luck and God Bless!

Hi. How are ya?
This is your new Senior Regent, Lynne Kelly. I am hoping to have a fun, fun, fun year for all my coworkers. We are looking to having a successful Friday night with fish dinners.
I want to give Holly and Tony a big "thank you" for helping out on Friday night fish while my husband is laid up. If you have any ideas or questions, feel free to see myself or anyone on the Board. Please look at the calendar for any changes.

ADMINISTRATOR's MESSAGE

Dear Brothers,
Well we're in the middle of another long hot summer in southwest Florida. I recently attended the International Convention held in Anehiem California. It was very informative and quite memorable. I can honestly say that seeing 3000 Moose Men and Women doing the Hokey Pokey is permanently burnt into my memory.
Your Lodge did very well last year and received many accolaids and honors. Among them, Naples Lodge 1782 will receive the Gold Level Premiere Lodge Award. Because of this Award along with the hard work of the Officers, Employees, Volunteers and Members our 2010-2011 Governor Jim Kelly qualified to receive the Governor's Award of Excellence. Congratulations Jim!!
One of the main focuses in the upcoming years within the fraternity is retention of Members. Naples Lodge has been meeting and beating quotas in bringing in new members, but keeping members is an ongoing task at every lodge. Please stay in touch with those that you sponsor to make them feel welcome at your lodge. Come to meetings and become a part of what goes on here at #1782 and remember that our ultimate responsibility is to Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
We have a lot of great Events on the drawing board for the upcoming year including Golf Tournaments, Holiday Parties, TV Raffles, Line Dancing, Karaoke, Live Entertainment. So Remember..This Is THE Place To Be!

MOOSE LEGION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

Hello everyone,
I see a lot of our friends are coming back down from the north and I, for one, am glad to see them back.
We have changed the Moose Legion Meeting from the first Monday of the month to the first Sunday of the month at 12:30pm. We are trying to get more members to attend. So please come in for breakfast and attend the short meeting. We are still looking for volunteers to help with breakfast.
We have a Moose Legion Picnic coming up on February 13, 2011 in Cape Coral.
Yes, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner and the New Year is getting very close and we need to make it bigger and better than the last one. So if you have any new ideas, please let us know.
The new District Officers have taken office so please come out and support your lodge. The schedule should be out very soon for times, dates and locations.
