TOMMY MOOSE DOLLS DONATED

Naples moose lodge 1782 has donated another 12 tommy moose dolls. These were sent to Omaha, Nebraska and donated to the Omaha Police Department in the name of officer Larry Minard, who was killed in the line of duty 40 years ago.

The presentation was initiated by our lunch cook, carol booher (officer minard's daughter) and lodge treasurer al newcomb.

Carol's sister, charlotte made the presentation to Omaha Police Chief Hayes on August 17th.

NEW MOOSE BBQ GRILLES

Shown above is Governor Jim Kelly and the late Bill Weissmann who are "firing up" one of our two new grills for our BBQ Nites and numerous Outdoor Functions.

Bill was instrumental in collecting donations so the Lodge could aquire these grills.

Come to the Lodge and check out our weekly Barbeque every Saturday Night!

MOOSE LEGION MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

Naples Moose Lodge hosted it's First Annual Moose Legion Membership Drive Dinner on Sun. Aug. 22nd.

We are proud to announce we have 5 new Moose Legionaires within our Lodge. The dinner featured Ham Steak with a Cider Raisen Sauce, Sweet Potato & Confetti Corn artfully prepared by our own Moose Legion "Chefs" Junior Governor Scott St.John and Prelate Fran Ferger.

LEE HEALTHCARE PEDIATRICS DOLL DONATIONS (16 aug, 2010)
The Naples Moose Lodge presented 12 Tommy Moose dolls to the Lee Healthcare System Pediatric Intensive Care unit on August 16, 2010.

These dolls were given in the memory of Charlie Minard who is the nephew of our lodge lunch cook Carol Booher.

In attendance were (left to right): Elsie Minard (grandmother), Carol Booher (aunt), Moose Treasurer Al Newcomb, Jordon Minard (aunt) , Kelly (nurse), Kirsten (nurse), Mary (nurse), Dr. Monge, Moose Trustee Danny Sullivan, Chuck Minard (grandfather). Tim sullivan and Chas Minard (father) got cut out of the picture.

EAST NAPLES FIRE DOLL DONATIONS

On July 28th, Naples Lodge Officers presented Tommy Moose Dolls to the East Naples Fire and Rescue. This makes a total of 100 Tommy Moose Dolls distributed by our Lodge in 2010 to "first responders" to help comfort children who may be involved in volatile situations.
